I have been reading a blog called This Girl Ish and it has inspired me to start my own. I have been wanting to do this for a while now but I was a little afraid that I wouldn't have anything interesting to write about. The fear of being uninteresting kept me from doing it. So, although it may not be Bronte, it may be a little interestinag and maybe a little funny.
The blogger, Ish, has been writing heart felt honesty and I look forward to her next post. I get excited when I see on Facebook that she has added a new post and I read it right away. At first, I felt a little guilty reading it as it was glimpse into her life and I felt I didn't have the right to read it. I met the lovely Ashley approximately 6 years ago. At first, she was this painfully quiet girl and when she and I would work together, I would talk non stop as she was quiet. But then the most amazing thing happened!! I learned of a few things we shared in common. We have the same love of the Beatles and an admiration for John Lennon. We would chat about Lennon and what we loved most about him and his music. That was the ice breaker for us. We would then have deep conversations about God and religion. I learned that Ashley was a girl with a good head on her shoulders and was going through life trying to do the right thing. Ashley also was a lot of fun and the time I spent at AE was always full of laughs and insanity. It was wonderful to re-connect with her on Facebook!!
I dedicate this first blog to Ish!! I think you are a wonderful women who is trying to follow a path of goodness. You are on the right track Ish and you WILL make it. Always look in your heart, the answers are usually there....sometimes words of wisdom can be heard in the most unlikely places
